KiSS Events is a full-service event planning company based in Kansas City, Missouri. Our approach to planning is collaborative. We take pride in our personal service and the relationships we build with our clients. We know that your event is the most important aspect of your life. Your distinct and unique style is important and it should be relected in your event. As such, we take the time to get you know you, determine how you want your event to look and feel and set a plan to fufill them. We will provide as much or as little assistance as you require. Ultimately, we will ensure that you will have an outstanding event, that is truly reflective of you!

Owner and lead consultant, Sharon, was raised in the Kansas City area , and is the creative force behind KiSS Events. After being sought after by many friends and family to plan their events, she decided to form KiSS Events. The company name, KiSS, was inspired by part of the theme from her own wedding; those were her and her husband's initials. She thought it would be fitting to name the business after the word where many of her dreams began.
Sharon absolutely loves planning events, especially weddings. When asked what her favorite part is about a wedding, she stated "The moment when the couple first sees the church and reception sites. The bride sees everything that we've worked so hard to plan and she's amazed with the beauty of everything and all of the special touches created just for them. I just LOVE making people happy!"
In her spare time, Sharon loves to sing and dance, much to her hubby's dismay. She is also constantly teased because she loves to watch the same 5 movies over and over including "Pretty Woman", "The Wedding Planner" and "Music and Lyrics". Can you tell that she has a thing for happy endings?
Sharon received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Missouri State University and her Law degree from UMKC. She is a licensed attorney in Missouri and Kansas.
